Cascara | Diofanor Ruiz
Cascara is the dried skins of coffee cherries. Usually a wasted by product or used as fertiliser on the farm. Utilising it as a tea also allows farmers to expand the revenue they can get from their coffee. Caffeine contet is roughly around 1/4 to 1/5th that of brewed filter coffee at our recommeded ratios and comparable to green tea in its caffeine. Cascara is a sweet, fruity & delicate tea with a lush mouthfeel. Flavours & aromas of dried fruits, honey & florals are very prominent.

Process: Naturally dried as whole cherry the the skins are milled from the bean inside and sorted Brew Guide: Use a Water: Cascara Ratio of 25:1 (e.g 10g of Cascara to brew 250g of tea) Steep for 4 mins at 95c Strai, pour & enjoy!
