Jose Ramiro Bermudez owns Finca El Encanto, located near the town of Manzanares in Caldas. This washed processed lot is form Jose's Variedad Colombia F6 Varietal - a resistant varietal with a great reputation for cup quality.
 
Jose recently developed a partnership with Cofinet through a producer friend of his - Leonid Ramirez, wit whom we've partnered previously. Prior to partnering with Cofinet, Jose was struggling to net fair prices for his coffee and his future as a producer was uncertain. Cofinet was able to aid Jose in achieving higher quality through better sorting & processing practices and some much needed equipment such as raised beds. As a result, Cofinet is now able to buy Jose's coffee at a much higher price than he was gaining before, giving Jose a brighter future as a coffee producer.
