Luis Gonzalo Dorado Espada owns El Tuno farm, where 1 hectare is planted with Castillo. After picking, the coffee is given a fermentation time of 24 hours and washed before being spread onto a patio to dry for 15 days.
Luis came 1st in Cafe Imports' Colombia Best Cup competition in 2019 with his washed Castillo. He has had another solid harvest in 2020 with yet another stellar washed Castillo with beautiful lively acidity, raw sugar & acai berry followed by a very smooth mouthfeel.
