This edition of our Seasons Best comes to us courtesy of a esteemed producer Aida Batlle as part of her signature 'Aida Batlle Selection Program'. Working with other El Salvadoran producers she has been able to source and aid in the production of exceptional single farm lots.

 

Claudia Mathies is a 4th generation Coffee Producer. El Paraiso farm has been owned by Claudia’s family since the 1800s.

 

Claudia's farm is Café Practices Certified. Café Practices verified that every three month a doctor comes to the farm and supplies medical assistance and medicine at no cost to the workers.

They also host a Christmas party for the workers children and the surrounding communities.

 

Bourbon, a famed varietal and the result is a coffee that possess' rich chocolate & toffee notes but balanced with sweet dates and a subtle orange like acidity.
