Seasons Best Blend Update: Welcoming San Manuel, Honduras
As we look ahead to the fresh El Salvador harvest arriving in July, we’re excited to introduce a new chapter in our Seasons Best Blend — the San Manuel Community coffee from Honduras — while we bid a fond farewell to our current lot from Finca Ayutepeque, El Salvador.
Introducing the Vibrant San Manuel Community Coffee:
Now stepping in, we welcome the San Manuel Community coffee, grown in the Opalaca Region within Lempira state, Honduras. This region is celebrated not only for its high-quality coffees but also for its striking historic churches and cool, mountainous climate. At an impressive 1,700 masl, coffee trees thrive in humus-rich volcanic soil, nurtured by gentle temperatures ranging from 15–28°C.
This exceptional terroir produces a lively, sweet cup profile with vibrant fruit notes, caramel sweetness, and a clean, lasting finish — qualities we know you’ll love in your next brew.
Farmers here cultivate Catimor, Lempira, IHCAFE 90, and Pacas varieties, with each lot processed by traditional methods — hand-cranked depulping, washing in wooden or concrete canals, and drying over 12–15 days to achieve the perfect moisture level.
In the cup, San Manuel offers:
Sweet orange citrus and stone fruit notes
A silky milk chocolate mouthfeel
A profile that complements both milk and black coffee styles seamlessly
San Manuel will feature in our Seasons Best Blend for the next 12 weeks — a fresh yet seamless evolution of the quality and character you’ve come to expect from us.
Seasons Best Blend – Pricing Update
Why A Small Price Adjustment?
In light of the global coffee market volatility in recent months, we’ll be making a modest adjustment to the price of the Seasons Best Blend.
As outlined in our broader coffee market update, green coffee prices have risen significantly due to:
Ongoing supply shortages
Increased production costs at farm level
Fluctuating global demand
To maintain the quality benchmark we set for Seasons Best, sourcing fresh-crop, small-lot, traceable coffees from trusted partners, it’s essential that we continue investing properly in both the coffee itself and the farmers who grow it.
This price adjustment reflects:
The rising cost of premium green coffee globally
Our commitment to direct sourcing and long-term partnerships with producers
Our promise to continue offering coffees that are fresh, distinctive, and ethically sourced — without compromising on the quality and care you expect from us.
We believe this is a necessary step to ensure that Seasons Best continues to live up to its name: a blend that celebrates the very best of each harvest, without compromise.
Thank you, as always, for your support and understanding.
We’re proud to share these coffees with you and can’t wait for you to taste what’s coming next.
